Pentad

Five Quincunx the Pentad.
Regarded by the Greek, the Hebrew and the Arab philosphers as the symbol of health. The Egyptians saw it as the symbol of prosperity. It has become to be recognised in more recent times as the symbol of marriage, fecundity and propogation. this is probably due to 5 being the union of 2 and 3, a male and female number. Man possesses five senses:- sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell, and also has five digits on each ahnd and foot.

Character Influences
Dash and vicvacity characterise the Pentad. Those with this number can tackle any task, but not neccessarily wholly successfully. Healthy in body and mind they exhibit bravery in the face of difficulties. Their susceptibily to emotional entanglements and their responsiveness to the emotions of others can lead to many passionate love affairs.
The eternal optimists, their glass is alway half full rather than half empty.
The fickle side of their nature coupled with their irresponsibilty is often the reason for the termination of their love affairs. Sometimes condemned as being untrustworthy because of their lack of concentration and inability to attend to the mundane, the steradying influence of 2 would quickly counteract these faults which do not go very deep.
